Activation just got cracked. You act as if it has been cracked for days. And shut your trap. You arn't doing squat to help, so bugger off. Don't like it? Go buy the game.


Jeez, chill out man. I'm not saying that they don't do shit, I bet they're working their asses of to get this cracked. I'm just getting a bit anxious about the fact that there still is no release, but I still respect all the scene groups very much.

But, anyway, just to get back on-topic,

I'm not sure if this is true, but I seem to recall that there was some kind of way to enhance the power of your gun with the plasmids. Or is that completely wrong? Don't know where I've seen or heard this, but it would be great if that were true. Very Happy

That is not good, this game could be perfect if this was changed.


its a LITTLE annoying.. i mean sometimes u get rushed and trapped by a few of those animals, so intead of actually going through the trouble of fighting them llike crazy and wasting insane amounts of ammo and health, i just stand there, let them kill me and i'll be back in that tube ready to flank em...

I think the vita chambers are like Fast Travel in Oblivion, just don't use it if it irritates. Maybe they can make it possible to toggle it on/off in the next patch, that would be great. I don't use vita chambers right now, dying means reload.

Exactly! I'm just F8ing my way through and when(if) I die I just hit F9 instead of opening the Vita Chambers doors.

I understand that, it's a good strategy but it takes reality from the game. If for example you had limited re spawns with all health and ammo (3X for example) and after that you had to start from the beginning that would be better.

Another thing i red about and didn't like it was the AI system. It's true that even if you select greater difficult level, the enemies aren't any smarter or harder to get? Confused

Didn't you spawn somewhere vita chamber like also in SS2? If Iremember correctly you "just" lost your inventry and in the end it was worse than dying Smile

Anyways, this and the last threads end have been more intense than the actual game xD If you think this is crazy, that fake razor crack in demonoid got like 160 pages in couple hours, same continues in iso release Smile Moderators need to pump them selfs with some plasmids to kill all those fakes&spam Splicers.

Maybe they will add some Hardcore difficulty in next patches, so you die once, and thats end of the game Smile wonder how much game will be moddable friendly, if ever.

Some guys at cs.rin got the paul.dll 99 percent cracked and you can download it from there. I tried it with the steam release exe and it doesnt work right, but the retail exe (the one thats like 15,920kb) works fine, even with the steam version. The only thing left to fix is the start button. It brings up the activation screen and you type in any number (no not the ubisoft screen, the real bioshock activation screen) and the activation is always successfull. The only thing left to fix is to reconnect the start button to starting the app. Link posted here:

there's a semi cracked paul.dll file out, if you use the retail exe and that dll you get to the activation screen where you can enter any serial and it works. However, the start button in that picture will not work.

playing on normal right now and they are getting HARD near the end... are their AI great? nah, but the way they are and the lightning plays right in their hand... the ones who can go up walls and roofs are crazy... and the big daddys get even stronger and harder hitting...

and your strategy is no good, sure you could die and would have to start over, but who the fuck would EVER do that? most people would jsut reload a saved point , so that point is useless... now what WOULD have been better is if the boss's health would be refilled cause now i just go right around ,set a few traps, fire a shot , he rapes me, i come back and finish him.

Only one thing: even if you fix the button and run the exe, wouldn't it prompt the SecuROM protection?

It will be so...strange, if the unknown group of hackers from cs.rin will crack the game faster than famous release groups like RELOADED.

There HAS been progress. In the meantime he made the hacked SteamUI.dll which bypasses the online activation of Bioshock.

Again, obviously we still have to crack the SecuROM protection, which, I want to reming, has already been cracked by RELOADED for other games.

Once the exe is fixed, it's over.

What I like to do is lure a big daddy to one of those respawn points and then you can even kill him with a wrench (and a lot of patience). Or, if there's one of those rocket turrets around, that thing rapes big daddies like there is no tomorrow! Just make sure it's not attacking the turret because its quite vulnerable. Telekinesis + gas canisters is another way to dispose of those big daddies Smile Or hypnotize one and let 'em kill each other.
I'm now at the farmer's market... I hope I still have a lot of levels to go through Crying or Very sad
