waiting for something like HL2.EP2.cracked.*NO.STEAM*-whatever

Can anybody of the ones that already finished it tell us, IF there will be a HL2-EP3 or HL3?
No spoilers like "ZOMG, Barney dies!11" Plz.

Of course there will be ep3 and all I can say ep2 ends with a little cliffhanger like ep1.Smile

Great game...I enjoyed it. Just wish we didn't have to wait another year for ep3(knowing valve).Sad

The HL2 Episodes was always confirmed to be a three-parter.

Correcting people since 2007 even if they're not wrong.

Don't take much to make you lol Smile Search youtube for random g-mod, thoses are much more funny.

Now, I know that if you manage to get all gfc and uncrypt then you can launch them with SteamEmu and play, should I do this or wait for a scene release,...

Yeah you can bet that. And also the fact that will come with HL2, HL2:ep1, HL2:ep2, HL2:ep3, TF, Portal etc in a Mega, Hiper, Uber fuckin* pack for only 49.90 Laughing Laughing
that you'll have to buy just to play only HL2:ep3....

I just played through EP2 with cracked steam, it was totally awesome. They finally drove the story forward, great enemies, everything was perfect. Again, a little on the short side, but one also gets Portal and Team Fortress 2. Portal will be great for the modding community, and well, TF2 is TF2.

I think I might actually buy that pack later on when it gets a little cheaper...

Yes I did, got the preloaded gcf files yesterdays from a renowned steam cracking forum (not pacsteam) got the patches for those GCF files from their forum aswell (about an hour after the official launch) and patched the preloaded gcfs with their tool CFToolbox. The tool decrypts the .gcfs and Steam allows you to play, that simple. Now you shut up.

Sweet! I was able to pick this up today at Target. I am very excited to play this. I forgot my Steam account LOL! Got it to work though from the reminder system Steam has. It's funny 15GB total install for everything. Wasn't Stranglehold 15GB?! LOL! Episode 2 will fall first. Then I will hit TF2.

X360 version got shitty graphics...like everything is downsampled. I would of expect better quality for a machine thats suppose to be "3x times" better than a PC in hardware/performance. X360 probably use compress gfc (matter of speaking)

Prolly a case of a 'bad port,' in this case in the favour of us (mainly) pc geeks for once. Razz I guess the source engine was developed from the ground-up for pc's(as plans to go console never materialised until after HL2 was released, or just before) and never got a rebuild, just kinda ported over to the consoles. I am kinda expecting the same if/when Crysis gets a port. Tho far cry on console was admittedly not horrible...nothing compared to the open world and high res of the pc version, but still not bad...

PC overpassed x360 when 8800GTX was out an year ago. If you read an interview to Crytek about a console porting of Crysis they said that they would have downgraded the graphic in order to make it playable on console.

Looks bout the same gfx-wise, which is still pretty decent. Engine still looks pretty sweet with anti-aliasing on 8xmsaa and 19x12. Very Happy But yeah besides a bit more physics-type action(buildings and bridges actually crumble in parts when blown up) and motion blur type effects in action sequences and such, about the same, no big changes.
