Well I got a problem that i've recently gotten, I cannot run games in "normal" mode. Like you know playing it normally Not windowed or anything. As soon as i open up the game it just goes back into windows but the game is still running. When i alt tab back in the game just goes out into windows again. Same thing, it happens over and over again i can just keep trying.

I've updated with latest drivers etc, this started about 1-2 months ago when i was running BF2 then it just started happening when i opened the game up.
I am thinking either Graphic card problems or my monitor is starting to crack up.

Anyways, do you guys got any suggestions?

Doesn't seem to work, i open up for example Cod4, i hold alt then hit enter and release then it just goes back into windows again.

do you have windowblinds or some other sort of window 'enhancement' software installed? uninstall
close all unnecessary software - antivirus and everything
uninstall and reinstall latest videocard drivers
sacrifice a virgin to pagan gods
reinstall windows

your monitor can't have anything to do with it
unless it's got some obscure widescreen resolution on it that no game supports and plain fails to open a window with

Done all that except the OS reinstallation, I think there are some problems with my gfx card or drivers, I get some driver error from windows now when I run COD4, it all just goes black and then i get a error.

Anyhow i'm going to school soon so i'll be running a 6h stability test from the nvidia control panel and i'll see the results when I get back. If everything is fine i'll try to deinstall the latest drivers and then install older drivers and see if that works.
