Which sides lvl 2 and 3 drones do you prefer? I've got to say I prefer the Red Star's, they're just so much more sneaky and alot more annoying for the enemy. Useful no matter what map.

The Western Coalition's armored drones are useless on open maps with vehicles. Good on the tight infantry only maps though.

Even if It's buggy as hell, i need a new bf2 game and that was shite at the start before the patches came out,like all pc games,i don't know why so many people complain about ports etc...cause when a few patches are released the games are always better for it.

Have you played through the single player? If you enjoyed that you'll love multi, of course you still get the usual twats who camp the aircraft spawns and have no concept of teamplay. But thats unavoidable unless you're on a private server.

I don't think so. How can it be a design decision that you can't activate explosion distortions because you want to play with medium shadows? Makes no sense if you ask me.

They may have decided that if your rig can't handle very high settings it can't handle distortions.
that's their opinion. Doesn't make it a bug. A bug is an unintentional error in the code. They very likely intended to put that restriction in there.

How do I exit a vehicle in the single player campaign in this buggy piece of trash?
The key I use to ENTER it does not work to exit it. I end up having to blow myself up just to get out.....

Yeah, I had the same problem in the beta. I just remembered what I did back then and it also worked now. Move foliage slider in GFX options to lowest (left). It's lame that they haven't fixed this since beta which was a known issue with many people experiencing it. oh well

Its The Don't-use-build-into-the-motherboard-sound-cards-bug , just go into the Dx options and set your sound acceleration to Basic , even Assassin Creed , TDU and many many other games out there have this bug

I *do* use onboard audio (Karajan Audio module using the Realtek codec) and that ISN'T the cause for the glitch. Glottis is right. It's the foliage and drivers. Upgrade to the beta 169.28 drivers, or move foliage setting to lowest. Easy.

I am running Vista 64bit + the new hotfix and I am STILL crashing unless i go EXACTLY where they want you to go...its so weird..I havent tried the DX thing (not sure where to do that at in Vista run dxdiag and its not in there)...

Well I figured it out...disabled my POS Pyhsx card...works like butter now. Saw the post on a Kaos' forums about Physx issues. ANyone else that has this issue with a physx card disable it in device manager...

Don't need to disable the card itself just open the Engine.INI file inside the Documents and Settings folder and search for PhysX. and set both (Should be two of them.) to disabled. (PhysX.EnableHardwareSupport or something like that.)

Most UE3 games have already have this value set to disabled as the game crashes if one tries to enable it with a PhysX card active, seems the game mainly uses the software solution and not the hardware for calculating physics. Smile
(Had to do the same thing and it made the game fully working, nice campaign even though it's mainly training for the multiplayer part - as usual for Battlefield type games however.)

So we have here unfinished piece of game, which appears to be good, but basically its missing a huge fixed bugs from betatesting and some of new. This game is actually being finished in present days thanks to beta-test help all of us, who are reporting all known bugs or need-to-be-fixed things to them. And they say piracy is worth of nothing. Smile)

Basically!! Sums it up pretty well...it has the potential to be a great game...seems to be a lot better now that the hotfix is applied...

Did Hour Of Victory or Turning Point have good graphics? They both use UE3... I agree the graphics in this game arn't great, but there not bad either Smile , It is a fun enough game to try imo, just don't expect too much from it Laughing Laughing

Personally I really liked the graphics in Frontlines. Hell, I loved them, just like I love the game itself - but people are expecting FAR too much from ALL their games lately. They want Crysis, yet they cry themselves to sleep after pitching a fit of rage over the fact that they can't RUN games that look like that.
