Train? I always thought these kinds of outings involved mini-buses.

It's been a while since I was there. Last time I went with the school when I was about Seven. Anyway we had a choice to go to the Cathedral or the museum. I chose the latter.

I know I know
Im just saying, how does all that work?
Like ok, lets take another euro country...say the netherlands. If you work there, do you get paid in their money or in euro dollars?
I never understood that. Each european country has its own denomination of money, but all of europe has the euro. So what do you get paid in? Euro's or your native country's money?

So If I were to take a trip to europe, my best bet would be to go with euro's right?

Depends where you go. I had to take Euros and Pounds on my last trip since the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland use different currencies |
But what if you go outside the UK? Do you have both the national currency and euro's or are you safe with just euro's?

if you're going to Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia or Spain then yes you need Euros, and only Euros
Also missed Sweden from the list of EU countries that don't use the Euro but you'd probably just be better off getting all money in Euros and convert it there if you're planning on going to Sweden or Denmark. Don't forget as well that Norway isn't part of the EU and also have their own currency
