it was pretty awesome. My friend bought a marshmellow sanwich. I picked up a new ipod nano. we sat on some bench and watched a bunch of black guys dancing on a podium randomly. We almost got the wrong train on to glasgow. woops. When we got there some random guy started trying to sell us his mix tape CD claiming it was in HMV for 8£ today LOL.. I was like "ok mate sure it is"...

Its a nice city, lots of hot girls too. Im going to bed now Smile Malibu makes me sleepy.

lmfao.. we actually almost did. I saw the sign at the station for the museum but we didnt go in in the end. We found this milkshake store which was pretty awesome, they had loads of chocolates and sweets that they blend into milkshakes for you.

I cant believe we didnt go into the dungeons either, we wanted to but didnt remember to :S
There is a lot of things to do there but we didnt stay long enough because my mate wanted to be home for the afternoon. Had to get up at 6:45 to be at the station for 8:35, then train to doncaster and on the donny platform for 30 mins before the next train to york. It was fucking freezing aswel.

it was pretty funny how many people stop you in the street trying to sell you useless crap or take surveys.

It's been a while since I was there. Last time I went with the school when I was about Seven. Anyway we had a choice to go to the Cathedral or the museum. I chose the latter.

I know I know

Im just saying, how does all that work?

Like ok, lets take another euro country...say the netherlands. If you work there, do you get paid in their money or in euro dollars?

I never understood that. Each european country has its own denomination of money, but all of europe has the euro. So what do you get paid in? Euro's or your native country's money?

If the country has Euros then that is their only currency ... they just replace old currency with the new one Wink

only the UK, Denmark and Switzerland have kept their currency.

Depends where you go. I had to take Euros and Pounds on my last trip since the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland use different currencies Razz

But what if you go outside the UK? Do you have both the national currency and euro's or are you safe with just euro's?

if you're going to Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia or Spain then yes you need Euros, and only Euros Razz

Also missed Sweden from the list of EU countries that don't use the Euro but you'd probably just be better off getting all money in Euros and convert it there if you're planning on going to Sweden or Denmark. Don't forget as well that Norway isn't part of the EU and also have their own currency Smile
