I've dumped every stat point into strength in hopes of improving my chance to hit but I think it's something that needs to be fixed. I've missed like 10 times in a row before and usually will never hit consecutively. It's so fucking annoying that I Alt-F4'd once and just said fuck it.

About potions it depends on your character. With my Shadow Warrior I never touched pots and walked around invincible with 2k health. With my Inquisitor I had a lot of trouble early on with using potions constantly but once my physical defense increased it became much better.

Not true at all. I am using the WARG clone. I replaced the s2logic.dll and used deletesecurerom before I run. I have 1 char 50+ and 2 chars 30+ and the other 3 are low level (I tried all 6 of them). The game works fine. All my skill points are there and I get full XP. I don't have any crash problems either, runs great.

When a new patch gets released, it's likely a new s2logic.dll will be needed. That's it.

this is strange. only luck. 1-2 don't get problems and 1000 + me too into almost all forums can't get this run properly with this workarounds (WARG or other languages release)

This does work after inst. and uninst. 30 x this is up to lvl 40 with all working Keeps fingers crossed it stays.

I don't think you put points in STR if you want a better chance to hit lol.. But then again I'm only going by other RPGs, I don't know if STR is supposed to give you a better chance to hit in Sacred 2 or not.

Strength increases chance to hit with swords and similar close combat weapons (And damage) while dexterity increases the chance to hit with ranged weapons (And damage.)

Weapon skills further increases this but you don't have too many skill "slots" so it's better to specialize or go with something like for example tactics lore (Plus damage.) and dual wield. (Overrides individual weapon skill bonuses if you use two weapons.)

Ahh I see. I only played the demo, but didn't get to far in it because it had a few bugs.. Is the full version any better now or should I just wait a while until more patches come out?

Oh how I LOVE this game.

This will keep me occupied for my hack and slash fix till Diablo III is out.

I liked Sacred 1 quite a bit. I love this one. Only thing though. . . you guys were right. The freaking voice acting is HORRIBLE. I mean AWFUL.
the camera kinda feels a bit clunky till you get used to it. But the graphics, sound effects and music are top notch. The skill trees all seem interesting and there is just oodles of loot to be found. Really cool game.

By the way, i am playing the inquisitor and managed to get him to level 8 tonight. If I get an item with a "+" to dual wield, should my character be able to dual wield? If so, how do I do that? I put weapons in each of the little circle areas but he doesn't hold the weapons at the same time.
What am I missing?

I'll thumb through the manual. Admittedly, I havent even looked at it.

Also, I played a good 3 hours straight and didn't experience any problems with the game as far as crashing or anything like that.

You just place two weapons within the same bubble. As you would with a shield + weapon. I personally didn't like dual wielding in this game.

Anyone find that all the grey sidequests provide shit for rewards? Upon completion they give you 2 monsters worth of XP and a sold items worth of gold. I stopped doing them all together because they just made the game boring. Laughing

But the boss drops from the side quests are worth it sometimes. What I really hate are escort quests, and with me not reading quest descriptions most of the time I suddenly have some faggot with me who chases after monsters 5 screens away and has the health of a butterfly.

really annoing quests.. until i found out you can make them use potions by right clicking on them vials Wink

I wonder what the end result will be for those blue quests (The more personal ones.) I did notice they differ a bit depending on character alignment. (Light or Shadow.) and it seems they span the whole game. (Been going trough several stages as both Seraphim light campaign and Shadow warrior shadow and light campaign and now they even continue into Act 2 so there has to be some pretty good rewards or info for completing the entire thing.)

Some other quests are also staged into a pretty big number of parts like one where I'm now investigating some undead soldiers and I have done nearly ten parts to that quest without fully finishing it.
(Truly is a big game and I still haven't explored all of the high-elven starting areas though I've done nearly 100 quests or something close to that.)

Speaking of quests my character canceled a few of them himself (Much to my dismay as I wanted to complete as many as possible without having them marked as failed.) as he didn't think much about the actual character and just wanted the reward.
(Shadow/Dark/Evil aligned shadow warrior is really evil. )

(Some other quests can also split depending on who you choose to aid and stuff like that.)

I don't know what you are getting excited about. Here's a gray quest I got yesterday - a woman who asked me to run around the town and inform her wedding quests that her wedding is postponed. Whoever thought such quests should be in the game should be shot on sight.

After you put in enough hours into the game, such things begin to annoy like hell.

p.s. any one experiences slowdowns in towns?
p.s.s. Any way to extract the cgi movies from the game? I'd like to save the Blind Guardians show Smile

I found out with my Firewall is that I blocked the game from Local Networking 192.0.0.1, or something like that, the game needs to "log" onto its own Local Server...
I have to "accept/allow" the server program everytime I play to turn on...
Shity programmed game...

Yes, it's transparent for me too. I hardly use it anymore but that's the way it was at first level. I was thinking it would grow more solid with levels and power, but it's probably asking too much from this game. Smile

btw, what's that god's power you have there? I took the demon and it's crap.

deletesecurom.reg is just a bullshit. it don't remove the securom and then all triggers are still here. triggers are into .exe or into paul.dll like all DRM protected games and also using s2logic.dll triggers are not removed. .reg is a workaround to remove the trial limit but not crack. the difference is if u use the original key. with the legal version ever get a crash

I don't know... i have the feeling i miss something ingame...
I'm now at level 10 but i cant say this game gets me addicted while i have the feeling it should...

Monsters are respawning after 2 mins or so ... hate that

The doppleganger is probably the best skill the Inquisitor has. Laughing

Once you add enough points into it to make it a permanent buff rather than a 30 second deal it becomes really useful. I gave it the Astute skill tree so he casts doppledangers himself and so do his doppledangers. The most I've had on screen was 8 of them and they were basically pwning everything in sight. Laughing

When he's not creating doppledangers he uses all the trees skills like the lighting and stuff (Very frequently)

The god thing I picked was the lower middle one. It basically makes all the enemies fight eachother for a period of time. The demon thing that turns on you is a total waste, I tried it for a bit before this one.
