The emulator has been in development for years and years and he is complaining about a few days late SVN compiles, lol !

Yeah, keeping up-to-date isn't important, unless you notice one of your specific problems has been fixed.
That isn't my compile, I just work on a couple of the plugins.

I never said keeping up to date wasn't important, dude, but then; keeping completely up to date usually ISN'T important anyway, or can do more harm than good. Drivers and plugins alike.
By all means, link to your work - and if you really are one of the devs then you have my utmost thanks as the emulator (and its plugins) is excellent - but don't whine at me about linking to a repository that doesn't have Day0 compiles. I've seen far too many games work great on PCSX2 (and indeed any emulator) that end up being broken horribly by later versions. By getting the one from the mediafire link, you're being locked into using the latest of the latest .. unless you decide to clutter everything by having multiple emulator folders. At least from my link, you can choose which plugins you want.

This is pretty lame topic since PS2 is now just $99 and most games can be bought for under $20. If you have PS3 emulator then it would be interesting.

I agree with you, but think long term. In 5 years or so when PS2 emulation is perfected, all games will run properly without any glitches at 60fps and at high resolution. It will be awesome. But right now in current emulation stage getting a 99$ PS2 is a smarter move.

I love this topic... if you don't bother just don't read it ... Ill bet there are more then enough people who are enjoying this , including me.
And no ... i don't have 99 dollars for a new PS2 which i also need to MOD again to play all that games.

The best, and well - only working one right now, GCN emulator is Dolphin. It's being worked on every day, just like PCSX2, but isn't as far along in the compatibility or speed department. Even worse is that the emulator doesn't support TLB - which quite a few GCN games require. The devs have said they do NOT plan to implement it as doing so would absolutely cripple performance.
Dreamcast, there is NullDC. Updated sporadically at best (last update was over a year ago and whenever someone asks for info, they get snapped at - so it seems to me that the devs don't give a shit anymore, hoping another emu will come along and bail them out. The idiots can't even manage to get a working controller plugin for it after the newest version broke the compatibility) I recommend sticking to 1.0 Beta6 and forgoing the new 1.3 completely. Not only is 1.0b6 faster and more compatible, but it also supports gamepads.
360 emulators? Not that I know of, sorry.

Chankast was great when it became shit, but in the age of 1 TB Hdd get nullDC with GDI images = FULL CD RIPS of DC disks each is 1,5 gig with all contend no more shitty 800mb CD rips, specially for D2 or Shemue with ripped audio, compressed video or ripped extras
NullDC runs all games DC and Naomi games FULL FUCKING SPEED hell YEAH

I have a Duo 2 1.8ghz, does that mean my processor is probably too slow to run PS2 games?
